Rogue Cinema review - Four Flies on Grey Velvet

I've done a special review for Rogue Cinema on the 40th anniversary release of Dario Argento's Four Flies on Grey Velvet. This early career Giallo from the cult Italian director hasn't been available for close to twenty years, so kudos goes to Shameless Screen Entertainment for this welcome release.

Rogue Cinema review - December

My last review for RogueCinema.com, before taking a sabbatical to concentrate on a major project, is of Jose Padilha's Elite Squad: The Enemy Within. Click on the link below, have a read and then watch the film - it's a bit of a corker.

Rogue Cinema review - November

My latest review for RogueCinema.com is now up. Click on the link below to be taken into the world of Lucky McKee's horror movie The Woman. Some have called it 'a masterpiece' and 'the horror movie of the year'. I'm not one of them, I say it's 'a run of the mill exploitation flick with delusions of grandeur'.

Low budget, independent British movies veer between hidden gems, run of the mill B-movies and embarrassing failures, have a read of the review to see which end of the scale Desperate Measures sits.

Rogue Cinema review - July

http://www.roguecinema.com/article2782.html - This month's review for RogueCinema.com is now up. It's a version of the Red Hill review I posted a couple of weeks ago. Well worth catching up with this genre splicing effort from down under.

Rogue Cinema review - June

http://http://www.roguecinema.com/article2729.html
Click on the link above for my latest monthly review on RogueCinema.com. As a site mainly dealing with low budget, independent or genre films it's a place where I can keep up to date with up and coming film-makers and under the radar films. This month I've reviewed a self produced promotional DVD called Quadro Bizarro: Four Short Films by Thomas Lee Rutter. Happy reading.
